Mother Nature

Mother nature never fails me. When you think you have nothing to shoot just turn to mother nature!! I can't wait for spring to come with all the new blooms!

And the Cow Jumped Over the Moon!!

When I look at these pictures I can't believe I took them. This is a huge accomplishment for me. I am so excited for what I will take next. On a side note I have downloaded GIMP (substitute for photoshop) but don't know much about it. I will be watching tutorials on youtube with hopes to take my photos to the next level!

Canon EF-S 55-250mm F/4.0-5.6 IS lens

I have added a second lens to my accessories. With this lens I will be able to get great close ups and do great sunset/nature shots. I tried my first shot at taking a picture of the moon. Taking a picture of the moon is a difficult task that I am slowly learning to master. I will share my first trial shots soon. They are not the best but I have read some more tutorials on how to achieve better shots.

A photo tip!!!

As I am entering the world of photography, I read a tip that stated "take at least one picture everyday." So I took one of hubby's guitars and took a few shots. I am trying my best to stick with taking a least a few pictures every day no matter what it may be. I have not been completely loyal to the tip but I have been making a great effort.

The Babies!!!

So here are the babies. Ozzy and Sharon!!! The back story behind these two are.....a classmate of mine stopped two kids in the city from throwing them down a storm drain. I could watch these two all day. I can't believe how fast they are growing!

Rudy!!!

Rudy, I am not even sure where to start or explain. First Rudy lives with my pops back at the homeland. We are not really exactly sure what Rudy is....we just tell everyone Chihuahua / Minature Dachshund but we do know that he thinks he is a human.

Reading the Manual / Ohio

Right after Christmas, my husband and I went for a road trip to my homeland. One thing you will find in my homeland is snow. The snow allowed for me to capture some nice shots that I am not sure I would have gotten in Maryland. At this point I am learning the differences among the standard settings that are designed with default features thus not allowing you to change things like the ISO.

Just Pushing the Button

So here it is, Christmas Day....I just started to push the button of my first SLR Camera. At this point I had no idea what all the settings were for let alone the green numbers you see as your looking into the lens. If you didn't notice I love animals!
